There are a few little styling tips to help you change the look and feel of your Graduated Bob.
Of course-as always, follow your Hairdresser’s advice on maintaining your locks at home. Begin with freshly washed and towel dried hair. Apply a good holding product such as gel or mousse, if you will be wearing a part, put it in at this point and comb hair into basic style. Allow to dry naturally, or use a hood dryer.
This look is casual, yet very modern and edgy-and is very easy to style! You only have to run your fingers through it to fluff it up when it is dry and you are ready to go-to make this modern style more classic, just tuck your hair behind your ear as above. For a more formal look, run a “wet look” gel through it, comb it closer to your head and add hair jewelry, easy!
For this look, just run your fingers through it when it is dry, being sure to pull everything toward your face. For more definition, use some texturizing gel and separate a few pieces around your face and in the crown area.
Do you want more fluff in your hair? This bob hair style is a bit more work, but still not hard to achieve at home. Use a large barrel curling iron; curl all sections toward the back of your head, when you reach the back-curl all of the sections down. Comb through your curls and spray with a medium to extra hold hairspray to finish.
There are quite a few ways to make these styles look different, such as “wet look” gel, texturizing gels, any number of finishing sprays. There are also tools such as spiral hot rollers, bendable rollers, you can set your wet hair on perm rods and let it dry, crimping irons, flat irons, waving irons etc. However, keep in mind that the more heat you apply to your hair, the more damaged it can become. Get in the habit of using thermal sprays and other such products; they will protect your hair from the damage heat causes.
Also, keep in mind that all types of hair ornamentation, from flowers and pretty barrettes and headbands to decorative chopsticks, jeweled hair combs and pins will all be very popular for 2013. So let you imagination soar with all the things you can do to decorate your “do”. And here are a lot pictures of bob hair styles, enjoy: http://hairstylesol.com/bob/
